At Cope Racing Transmissions we build Mopar only transmissions. John Cope is the only person that builds all the transmission at CRT, This is the only way he can keep a 100% quailty control in our units. John can build you anything from stock to full race. Here at CRT we can install your transmission, torque converter or any thing elce we offer. Customer service along with the highest standard in quality is our number one priority.
Cope Racing Transmission Inc. feels that it is questionable if an SFI approved safety shield would contain a transmission explosion. The stock steel drum can cause a catastrophic explosion, if the sprag and or low reverse band fails. We highly recommend a billet front drum and any race car no matter how fast or how slow. You are best protected from serious injury or death if you have low band apply valve body and bolt in sprag and Billet front drum in aluminum or steel and a SFI shield. If you brake a drive shaft, U-joint, or axle the transmission must be removed from the car and the sprag and transmission case must be inspected for damage .
